My grandpa helped to invent weather radar and was later the president of the American Meteorological Society.

My dad was president of The Lewin Group, the company that wrote "The Lewin Report" that was the basis of the '04 presidential debate about the two candidates' medicare plans.

The keyboard player in the Wallflowers is like my 3rd cousin or something.

No family here, but a couple of friends - my best friend from high school goes to the same church and lives in the same neighborhood in dallas as Terry Bradshaw and has been to his house for a couple of barbeques - says his house left him "speechless"... and also one of my friends from nacogdoches now owns a house built by the guy who invented the 3 prong outlet we all use today... not a really big house, but really cool on the inside... and then my cousin used to be a pretty good friend of Nolan Ryan when they lived close to him in Alvin... Well, now that i think about it, i've heard my mom say before that Yogi Bear? i think (a somewhat famous fiddler from a few years back) is one of our cousins and he and willie nelson attended one of our family reunions one year... I was too young to remember it though...
