I've been wanting to get a remote for my computer to control my music and stuff for a while, then I saw this and decided to give it a try. It was on sale at CompUSA for 19.99 then I had a coupon, that wasn't supposed to work for this but they accepted it, and got it down to 16.49. As I was leaving that cashier stopped me and gave me a rebate for 10 dollars, so I got the remote for a little over 6 dollars.
The remote works really well. If iTunes is open, it controls iTunes. You can adjust the volume, fast forward, rewind, skip tracks, play, pause, stop, access the menus. If iTunes isn't open, you can use the arrow keys to control the mouse. Also, you can program it for different applications and program each different key to do a different keystroke. I do wish that the remote could work without the IR, which causes it not to work if there are any objects blocking the signal.
Overall, it was a great buy and I use it all the time now. Much easier.

The Keyspan Remote for iTunes is a powerful infrared remote that allows you to control iTunes and other multimedia applications on your Mac or PC in the same convenient way that you now control your home TV.
How it Works...
The remote controls your multimedia applications by sending them the same keystrokes that you do when you control the application from a keyboard. For example, pressing the spacebar on the keyboard causes iTunes to play a track. The remote sends the same key to iTunes when you press the 'play' button on the remote -- allowing you to control iTunes from across the room.
