neat gimmick, but it's slow so it won't take off. a real geek could do the same stuff in 1/3 the time.
eh. that's not the point. real geeks will almost always prefer a command line. this is part of the push to get linux onto the desktop - making it user friendly enough that any idiot can use it. OSX's fancy shmancy graphics and animations get a lot of attention, so they're doing the same thing here.
