Default I almost got stuck

h:

My dry top and pants came in today so I test fit them. I had no idea how tight the seal is on those damn things and it took me about 10 minutes to get the top back off h:

Would have really sucked if I had to call someone to get me out of a damn drysuit

How much have you spent total for all this stuff?

I want to get back into it again. How much is it going to cost me roughly to get outfitted?

Just figure a grand +/-

Buy a used boat and cut a lot of cost
Buy used dry gear and save a lot but risk leaks or worn seals
Buy used paddles or get a combo pack with the boat for a savings

Also research boats available and test fit a few before you decide what you want. My problem is 6'3" and 220 makes for a tough time fitting creek boats and play boats, I finally found one that fits prety well but I have to pull out the foot rests and replace them with foam this week so I fit it beter.

Nah but if you are looking for a whitewater boat then just start your search with "creekers". I ended up with a Dagger Mamba 8.5 which is a creek boat. the main limitation with it is it will be hard if not impossible for me to rodeo in it but I can still surf it and do plenty of other stuff in it.

Oh it's a riding style basically it is freestyling on a river wave.

You drop into a pocket or a wave and start doing spins, flips rolls etc. It is a pretty technical riding style, not my thing but cool to watch and a lot harder than they make it seem.
