no i didn't take a shot you said the UN would be nothing wihtout the US... i am saying that they only contribute 22%. so even if the US were to pull out of the UN the un would still be able to operate.... it not true that "the UN wouldn't be shit" without the US funding. althought i agree that it would give a serious blow to the UN and the other member would eventually have to pay more.

well not really... i just disagreed with the "the us should decide the Secretary-general cause the contribute the most" thing. Althought the us is the major contributor... they are also the ones that have the biggest debt to to the UN and by debt i mean financial debt. whats wrong with what i said, i did even start talking about anything else... i didnt even know this was going to turn into a US vs THE WORLD thing dude. calm down.. i am not taking a shot at the US, i am just saying that i dont think they should be deciding who should become the next secretary-general who BTW will be named next year because they dont agree with the UN's policies to start with.
