i originally did want verizon but after comparing the total cost between the two, i'd be better off saving some money.

also with the nextel, i'll only be subscribing for one year without having to pay extra for the same phone.

you can't use the phone if you don't have reception. thats why t-mobile offers so many minutes for such little money. you never have service (at least not in this area. i understand the coverage is very good in other regions) so you can't use all the minutes they give you. its worth the extra money to have a better network.
