Default even a worse day...

So last night, or rather this morning, a friend of mine died in a car accident. He was the boyfriend of a friend of mine, and I have hung out with him a few times. It was a drunken driving incident. Just shows that all those facts are true. It's pretty crazy. I guess he was drinking at one of his co-workers house, who was 40, and they were leaving for somewhere. My friend drove a porsche boxster, and I guess the other guy was more sober than him, and wanted to drive it. So with the top down, and no seat belts, they were speeding, lost control, and both flew out and hit trees. They both died on impact. It is pretty crazy. I saw the guy the night before I left for college last week. Once again, just proves that drinking and driving doesn't mix. People always say it won't happen to them, and I know that I've said that, but this one hit pretty close to home...

The loss sucks, but I'm glad they didn't take out an innocent person due to their bad decisions.

A side effect of this stupid act, people like the original poster have to deal with this crap.

but neither one of them were wearing their seatbelts. regardless of who's driving, I'm sure their survival rate would be higher, both driver and passenger.

I still have little sympathy, but then again, I've known people who died doing stupid things behind the wheel....

whatever dude... i am saying this guy is now the one who lost a friends and all you were able to do is say i have no sympathy and the driver was stupid bla bla bla... you think he doesn't knows that? and the driver obviously paid for his mistake.

Sympathy is given to the people who are still alive, the people that cared for the victim of the accident.
