So I got this notice to renew my registration in Cali in like December of 05 and I figured that since I already registered in NY I don't have to do anything. So I get another notice the following month saying that I owe penalty fees and all this, blah blah blah cuz I am late on my renewal. I tried to call them 6 times that month to tell them I had regeistered in NY and could never get through. So I just dropped it. A couple days ago I get this thing from them that says "FINAL NOTICE" Delinquent registration renewal, saying they are going to put a stop on my bank account and somehow take money from my income. So I sent them $140 and on the back I wrote that I registered in a different state. Since I am not renewing they aren't going to use the check right?
