What is a good way to deatil the engine bay. I know I need to use some degreaser and stuff, but what elements do I have to cover.

Alternator is the only thing I'd really worry about. Everything else is pretty sealed.

I haven't detailed my engine in years :happysad: Last time I detailed was my grandma's Stanza...she lives in Saratoga. Yeah that thing died 3 months after I did it

My fucking grandfather drove it for 30 mins with the temp needle in the red zone while my grandmother was sitting there begging him to stop the car and let it cool down. She fucking knew more than he did Now I have to buy her a car.

I pulled my battery out too and covered the fuse box, just to be safe.

I soak the shit out of my engines, no problems. Just go over the electrical stuff sparingly.

So what do I do, just spray on some degreaser, let it work on the grime, then spray it off? Does the engine have to be cold or warm?

I keep the engine running, the heat helps evaporate water quickly.
