what the hell is with car stereos?!?!
Am I the only one who can't stand the way 99.9% of all car stereos look? They all look like a peice of a cheap star trek set. no consistant lines, nothing is intuitive, about 10 different colors incorporated and tons of shitty looking fake plastic chrome. why are are car stereos the only piece of electronics that have to look this rediculous? I mean some boomboxes look like this but there also plenty of decent ones out there. why can't they just make a simple, sleek stylish car stereo like an Ipod?? These things look like crappy winamp skins made by 8th graders. wtf. :rant:

Yeah apparentlly im the only one because thats all they sell. i mean doesn't anyone else notice how those things stick out like a sore thumb when they a stuck into a nice sleek interior?

yea the looks are not the best, they are more appealing to the younger crowd.
I think it's crazy for how much money they want for it and then accessories.
A damn alpine Y adapter is $15-40, depending where you go. It's just an RCA splitter!
