Chrysler Imperial
Anyone happen to know if this old car, 92 or 93ish, happens to have some sort of built in radar detetor that will turn off your cruise control if it detects... radar?
OR!! or... if the police have something that would accomplish the same thing?
I've never seen something like this on my Accord, Prelude or Integra with cruise on. But this Imperial slowed right down before I even saw the police car sitting in the median behind some shrubbery.

True story. We were driving along, I had the cruise set at 70. Then all of a sudden the car starts to slow down. I'm like WTF. Like a DC-10 our speed just dropped.
When I looked up, I saw a police car sitting in the median. I resumed speed upto the speed limit (65) and then kept going.
I never heard of a car having something like that before.
