:werd: I fahking hate it. I have to call this friend of the family who does work for us on cars but he knows my dad, not me. So I usually say "Hey, this is Chris Hall" and he goes "WHO?" and then I have to say "Charlie Hall's son" and he goes "oh yeah, okay, what's up?"...and that pisses me off.
I had no turbo for about a month because I'd rather use Paypal and the internet instead of talking to a company over the phone. I always plan out what I'm going to say then I end up choking so I try to avoid it.
I don't call any person or place of business I am not familiar with, unless it is impossible to contact them face-to-face or by mail. I guess that makes me weird too.
