my dvd player seems to play movies really dark on my tv. and its either the dvd player or tv. Because i've tried movies in the livingroom tv and they seem fine not extremely dark at all, epoch seems to think its the input on my lcd but i dunno, the dvd player is an elcheapo polotoid, a gift so what do you guys think?

 

I've seen that happen when playing through a vcr but not directly to the tv. see if you could borrow someone elses player to test it out. or go buy a new one and if it does the same take it back.

already did that didnt work, yea i might just get another player something half way decent, this one was a gift but yea...
