Default 5.25" speaker recommendations?

My oem ones suck. Jay recommended Kappas since I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg. h:

Any other recommendations? Not looking to win any competitions and I plan to eventually buy a box and amp for my two 10" rf's that were given to me

OEM does suck pretty bad. My door panel components blew last year. Still haven't fixed it.

I think I'm gonna go with Polk Audio something or others. I got the rear speaker kit for my Eg Si. Maybe 6.5's in the doors, and 5.25's in the back.

infinity is defintely a good way to go, if you agree with: treble >>>>> bass

yes, exactly 5 > are needed to express that point. (some complain that they are too tingy)

sound clarity is amazing for their price.
