ok ok no canadian Army bashing please... I am serious thought. Do you think a professionnal helicopter liscense is worth it? is the work interesting?

Seriously, look above and join the coast guard. much cheaper.

There is a reason there aren't that many helicopter pilots out there. It takes time to become a good one, and most people aren't willing to devote that sort of time.

i dont know... thats like a hell of a change of direction in life. first off i am not really coast guard material. I am fat... and i know they dont take fat epople in. then the 4 year of enrolement i would only make 40K where as right now i make more then 52K. I also have not been in shccol in the past 5 years, i think i would have a hard time going back. I dont know that if worst comes to worst i would probbly do it, but god damn thats a big commitment when your 27 YO.
