but thats liek a full time thing. they pay for your education and give you an allowence but you need to give 4 year for training plus enroll for 4 years.

oh no, in 8 years you'll only learn how to fly a helicopter and have a bacherlor's degree :wtc:

There is a reason there aren't that many helicopter pilots out there. It takes time to become a good one, and most people aren't willing to devote that sort of time.

i dont know... thats like a hell of a change of direction in life. first off i am not really coast guard material. I am fat... and i know they dont take fat epople in. then the 4 year of enrolement i would only make 40K where as right now i make more then 52K. I also have not been in shccol in the past 5 years, i think i would have a hard time going back. I dont know that if worst comes to worst i would probbly do it, but god damn thats a big commitment when your 27 YO.
