Default I have a bee sting

and it is worrying me a little.

Got stung on saturday while packing up from camping, not sure what kind of bee but the sucker hit me 2 or 3 times in a row in the same spot. I am pretty sure it was a meat bee.

So when should I be concerned about it?

Basically right now it is red and swollen and is just annoying, but the last time I was stung by a bee I think I was 13 so I can't remember how I react or how allergic I am to them.

Home remedies that work anyone?

did you try benadryl?

or if you have a prescription for clarinex you can take 2 of them and see if it helps-- i'd only try this once, i'm afraid that taking more than recommended for long periods of tiem might do harm, but i've been told every once and a while it is ok. i have also been told by a D.A. that taking 2 can help if someone is having an allergic reaction.

Meat tenderizer, when made into a paste, works wonders.

If you were allergic, you would have been in deep shit long ago.

Yeah I have a couple boxes of Benadryl sitting around here. I was thinking about taking a couple just to see what happened. since they are the nighttime ones this should be fun after the beer I drank today :chuckles:

Ice the area. Simple but effective.

Is the stinger still embedded?
