I thought about it, but it would be to much of a pain in the ass. Similar to my electric conversion ideas. But damn, that was when gas was under $2. Now it's at $3. :sqfawk:

I'm on a tank I was just think someone might fill their grill tank off their home tank and how potentially dangerous that might be

my grandfathers f250 was modified to run on propane.. then coverted back to diesel.. but this was years ago

There was a F150 in front of me the other day on my way home that was running off of vegetable oil. I've heard the exhaust smells like french fries and I would say they're right. Made me hungry.

propane powered amazes so many of you yet the namesake to our forum has a natural gas powered vehicle in their lineup. granted its not propane but very similar. gm also had propane powered 1/2 ton pickups for quite a few years. the biggest thing that has to be changed is in the heads and obviously your fuel system. theres many diesel applicatioins that use propane. its really not that difficult of a process to have a propane powered vehicle.

You can get conversion kits, but they are usually carb based and it's more difficult to convert a Fuel Injected car.
