Default long road trips....

I just arrived home from north carolina drove about 8 hours to florida... sigh i'm all tired now. Don't you hate sitting in the car for a very long time and your ass gets all numb and sore? Ppl who are in the fast lane but don't budge and you're stuck, cuz the person on the next lane is also slow?
tell me yr experiences and what you think.. go!

My friend used to do the NC-FL trek every summer too.

I've never been on a really long road trip, so I dunno... If you have good music and good friends it shouldn't be that bad.

When I lived in Charleston, SC we would drive up to Saginaw, MI to visit my wife's family, do it in one day. Stopped for breakfast/gas, then lunch/gas, and dinner/gas, so it was eat and fill up and do potty breaks and then go. It was about a 1000 miles and we would do it in about 15 hours. One year I was following an old dude driving a Citroen through Ohio we made it from Cincinnati to the Michigan border in just over 2 hours, he would signal me when his radar detector went off to slow down.
