If my big toenail just fell off, will it grow back? I dropped something heavy on it about 2 months ago, and blood has been under it since. The bottom of it just pointed up and blood started coming out, but it's stll connected at the top. Hope it will grow back. Does anybody know for sure? I'm thinking it will, because a toenail is like hair is'nt it?

Of course it'll grow back. I've had fingernails fall off because of swelling and return in about 3 months.

Yep I have lost mine a couple times as well and sure enough I still have to cut em

Toenails are actually the fastest growing nails so it won't take long at all.

I lost one of my fingernails once. For a little while I could pull it out and stick it back in again.... People would be like :eek4:
