you are logging into a website so you type in your user name then tab over to the password and start typing in your password and hit enter without even thinking...you do it so fast that you don't even look at the screen.

then when you do look up you see that somehow when the page wasn't loaded all the way and when you typed in your user name it only entered halfway and the rest is your password all in plain view :upset:

even better when theres someone behind you and sees your password :madr:

this one time i was doing that and someone sent me an IM and my whole password was IMd :madr:

 

What I hate even more is when I'm typing in a password and I get an IM and without looking I hit enter and suddenly I've posted my password to whoever just IMd me.

True, but sometimes somebody will say something to me and I'll turn to respond to them while still typing. I end up typing passwords in plain view all the time at work because my IM and e-mail steal focus whenever I get a new message.

When this happens to me, I'm almost always looking up thinking about what i'm going to say, or looking at something on my desk, etc. I can't remember the last time I actually looked at my keyboard as I typed.
