Blah blah blah...kayak shopping done
Finally knuckled up and got my Yak today
Gonna give her a test run tomorrow up at the lake just to get a bit used to it and paddle it a little, see how she rolls and if she tracks half decent in slow waters.
Here she is
Dagger Mamba 8.5

I got it in the dark blue and scored a pretty damn good deal for a new yak

Thats why I got it, I need something I enjoy that actually keeps me active and interested. Snowboarding got too expensive for me because I was going upwards of 200+ days a season h:

Well just took it down to the flatwater river around the corner from my house and gave her a quick test run for about an hour or so. Definitley more responsive than I expected and every twitch of the body makes it move differently.
Gonna sign up for a roll class so I will be more comfortable in the rig and not so nervous. When they say you wear it more than you sit in it they aren't kidding, no amount of showroom sitting prepares you for how it actually feels on the water.
