I am not trying to start shit, I am just going to show you that you were stupid to pay the money for a k swap and all the work when with a little research you could have built the y right and been a lot faster.

I am not trying to be a dick (well maybe a little), but a k swap is senseless in my mind.

I really wasn't trying to start shit, it is just obvious there is a break in period on any rebuilt or fresh engine and how far it is depends on the build many times and intended application.

that is probly true, but fortunatley for me the engine had bout 11000miles and i aint tearing it apart! it MIGHT last for a while!

Now i really dont understand your reasoning, but whatever.

Let me know when the k swap is done, my brother lives in Abingdon, so I will roll down there. I have no problem running a non-turboed swapped k, it will actually be fun.

thats cool! i bought the k motor for a car that was intended to be nothing but show but i sold it, so i have 3200 bucks of horsepower laying in my garage! might as well put it to work!

why dont you sell it, send a y block off to get completely built (sleeves, pistons, rods, larger bore), then turbo it, and pretty much walk on anyone for the most part.... and it will mount right up with everything you already have....
