Car Dealers and End of Month
So about 2 weeks ago, I went to Harloff BMW to look at an X5.
2003 3.0, Nav, Prem/Sport Pack... FULLY LOADED and 22k miles. asking 39k
They lowballed me on the Expo offering 6k and came up with figures at about 42k out the door. I said thanks but no thanks and left.
I've had no less than 10 phone calls from the sales person since then and yesterday he called me 5 times.
His best offer over the phone was 36k + fees and 6k for the expo.
I told him no. At least I know I can get a better deal next month while it sits on their lot.
Funny how motivated he was to call me 5 times on the last day of the month. :doh:

Yep.
When I said I wanted my car back ( I took the dealer car for the night ) and I wasnt going to buy they came at me with the offers that I had wanted and had to fight for the previous night.
