I just got two emails from ebay. One: to update my membership....which I don't have, and Two: are these phones unlocked for use in Norway? How should I know I'm not selling any phones....since I don't have an account at ebay.
Both were asking for SS numbers and CC numbers like I'm giving those numbers out. Although I do have some CC numbers that are void.....because the accounts are closed, wonder what would happen to someone trying to use them?
Needless to say they were sent to the junkmail graveyard.

it's quite sad how many people fall for that. Honestly though, it's only because we're on the net quite a bit.
If you're a casual internet user or someone new to it ... mostlikely, you'd fall for it. :hs:

My question is how can someone fall for it if they don't have an account? You know that some of these dumbasses that respond with all their info don't have accounts....

The same reason tht people ask questions about something that right in front of them before even bothering to look. Some people just wern't given the gift of common sense to say "hey, I don't an eBay account so why am I being asked this??".

a kid I work with who claims he knows all about computers and the internet fell for one of these scams, they maxed his credit card and cleaned out his savings and checking accounts... I felt bad but I couldn't help but laugh at him.
