You know, Toyota did something smart with the MR2's premium sound system. There are 2 enclosed boxes, one below each seat that have a 5-1/4" driver in them. Puts out amazing mid-range bass, and low-range bass (which I don't enjoy) does not harm the speaker when turned up loud.

So I guess the point of this post is to encourage you to try and find someone selling these enclosures and then tuck them somewhere in your CRX.
