Default Spider-Man 3 facts

So my friend knows someone who is working on the Spider-Man 3 shoot. Their budget is over $600 Million, they employ over 10,000 people, and they have 1/5th of all union film electricians in LA/Hollywood.

I found all that pretty crazy!

Hopefully this one is actually good, unlike the second.
The greenscreen stuff was wickedly bad in 2.

600 mil?! That's crazy. Generally any big time studio flick, after all the marketing and other type stuff, needs to double its production budget to turn a decent profit. That means it would need to take in $1.2 billion!

What's really interesting is that the studio has openly said that they are mainly focusing on "Viral Advertising" for the next one.... so any info... is just their cheap way of drumming up chatter and having people on the internet do the advertising for them.

IMO it'll suck worse than 2.
