Default turbo my car

I've seen some people on here say things like "don't buy a kit! You can piece together one for like half that price!"

93 integra LS. B18a. My AC doesn't work anyway so that whole thing can go.

Ok, so lets see it. Price it out. I want to see someone put together a whole kit for less than half of what these kits I see online. They range from $2-3k.

Go.

No really.... I've looked online and either I don't look in the right places or know what to look for, I've tried parting one together and I still always come up with somewhere around $2k.

Unless people are stealing these $500-1,000 turbos, I don't see how it's possible. :dunno:

I say its cheaper to buy a turbo kit that someone is parting out. buy everything and then maybe upgrade the turbo or have it rebuilt. thats the cheap what to do it.
