I've done this before but I forgot the sequence.

Obviously the black wire connects to ground
the red goes to 12v constant from battery
yellow would go to equipment ( ex: 12v connection on amp )
blue goes to ignition / turn on lead.

The last time I wired a relay was in 2002 when i got my accord.

as long as you've got your open/closed trigger correct, you should be fine

 

your post helped me out. Based on the information i read it seems as if im correct with the layout above. Thanks, if i fry my car ill be sure to let you guys know...lol
