I talked to my boss and will be helping out doing autobody at Stateside during the weekends because I don't think I can physically do two full-time jobs, as much as I try. h:

I got hired by Kirby of New England as a Sales Rep/Product Demonstrator. They sell commerical cleaning products for flooring, carpets and various other commercial goodies that you might need for wood refinishing, etc.

Getting my own company van, free Nextel subscription for work, bunch of paid vacation time, etc. etc.

It's not commission based either, which I'm thrilled about, rather I'm salary pay (and it's about 50% more pay than I'm used to) plus a $1,000 sign on bonus.

I'm pretty friggin stoked.

 

i think one of my friends did this a while ago. he ended up learning the ropes after 2 years, and started up his own thing in vegas. good luck griff.

No, fuck that. If a business were interested in our products (or a vendor), I'd do a demonstration for them (2-3 hours) and try to nail the sale.

It's not like I'm going to be walking around with a vacuum door to door.

 

i only ask cuz those door-to-door Kirby guys are a pain in the ass. you let them come in to show you a demonstration, and then they try to force that shit on you. i hate them!!!
