 thanks jay!

Although they aren't as powerful as the 911s, the Boxsters handle really well. I like the new design a lot though. Looks real nice. But at the same time if you're gonna buy a Porsche, don't buy the low end model.

i understand the price tag issue....but ive come to accept it. why? because to me personally, almost every car seems to be priced higher than what it really is worth. i dunno any car that costs $60k that really is worth the full $60k to me.

integras are the "low end" acuras.
integras are just fine.

same thing seems to be about the W203 benz c-class sports sedan. so many people bash that thing as a piece of garbage. but its really not that bad. sure, its not an awesome car with great everything, but my point is that its not as bad as so many people seem to make it out to be. especially being that so many of these car critics never spent time in one.

the civic is a "low end" honda. and honda to begin with isnt high end anyway. so whats that make a civic? a low end model of a medium end brand??? its stupid. civic is a great car....for what it is in its class. thats all there is to it.

a 3series is a "low end" BMW. but the 3series keeps BMW alive and strong. the E36 and E46 are one of the best cars in its class.

reverse the situation...and the NSX was supposed to be the "high end" acura/honda. awesome car, but can it really compete with "high end" ferrari and lambo and porsche models? maybe. but given that all drivers are equal... with the price tag of a brand new NSX, how many people are gonna buy one? not many.

But we are talking about Porsche here, a company with a rich history of racing. I really like the Boxter, and I've spent time in one. Actually I am changing my opinion. The Boxster is a great car, although it's the cheapest of the Porsches. It is owned by people who either a) know how to drive a slow car fast, or b) people who drive it because it has a Porsche name.

I bought an Integra because I wanted an Integra, not because I wanted an NSX but settled for the next best thing.
