Default The Aftermath. (pics)

If you didn't read my thread this morning, read about what happened here:

https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=243795

Here's the Local News link to the story: http://www.dailypress.com/news/local...ws-local-final

Apparently it caught fire some time around 4am this morning and someone driving by called 911. It woke up the neighborhood and we now have a VHS copy of the house engulfed in flames taken by one of the neighbors. 4 fire trucks later and 40 minutes of waiting for the gas/power to be turned off, they put the fire out. They said the fire started behind the fuse panel in the garage, possibly bad wiring.

I'm very thankful that this didn't happen 2 months ago while I was living there. It was declared a loss and my parents are waiting to here back from their insurance.

RIP 117 Sheffield Way. I've got lots of memories of this house. My parents purchased it new in '91 before we moved to Hawaii.

It melted the siding on our neighbors house. The tenant just moved in there about a week ago.

And it melted the neighbor's siding on the left of it as well.

My parents left their "beater" car at the house while it's been vacant just so no one went snooping around. It was all the way up the driveway near the house. The firefighters pulled it down the driveway somehow before it went up in flames.

Wow, that must have been one blazing fire to melt the Jetta and the neighbors siding like that.
