Was tempted to call Marshy as my daughter and I were passing through Spokane, but then I remembered I didn't have his number h:

Weather has been shit all weekend. Went to Goldendale Washington and it hit 110 on Saturday. My daughter was miserable and I just wasn't feeling it this year.

Anyways should be in White Sulphur Springs by tomorrow afternoon.


Oh and my truck has been getting pretty good mileage on this trip averaging 14.6mpg when normally it gets 9-10 around town

 

Old good friend of mine from high school lives there now and goes to the University there.

Blonde former cheerleader captain. Yea... she was nice

Now in Dillon Montana on my way back towards home.

Spent a couple days in White Sulphur Springs which was a good time. If anyone ever gets over there stay at the Spa Motel which has a hotsprings in it. Not a huge place but it was really relaxing soaking in the water after the long drive.

Got to go paddling out on Newlam(sp?) reservoir a bit, which is only about 5 miles outside of town. Had some great pizza at the Stageline, whoda thunk the best pizza I have eaten in many years would be found in some podunk town in the middle of Montana :chuckles:

I would stop and have some coffee with you but we are going back through Lolo pass into Lewiston and straight across the lower corner of Washington right into Oregon.

 

Suckage! And I'm not coming down to Bend this weekend. It fell through.

 

Bend is just going to be hotter than shit anyways until Monday or so anyways.

Goldendale was 110 and over here it has been steadily 100-103 all week :happysad:

 

I was so looking forward to taking a roadtrip this summer.
