weekend OT
So here I am at my new job doing some overtime.
Would any of you consider watching a movie and looking for video, picture, or audio errors difficult?

Job Responsibilities:.
• Applicant will be responsible for encoding content using various audio/video encoders.
• Pre – qualify of video masters prior to encoding
• Manage the movement of files to servers
• Interact and coordinate with Production operations.
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Client interactivity.
Job Qualifications:
• 2-3 years work experience within the video tape industry.
• Experience with Audio/ video routers.
• Must be experienced with the use of various video tape machines and encoders.
• Experience with windows media, Quick time, MPEG, and other similar formats.
• Applicant must be proficient in both PC and MAC.
• Troubleshooting experiences a must.
Thats the job description taken off the company's site...the past week, 4 particular features (cant say which ones) kept having errors after being "encoded". We came up with different possible solutions which had all failed. Then on friday, a new solution with promising results came through. To verify that the new solution works, you have to watch the entire feature to make sure there's no visual or audio errors. Theres not much time to watch a feature during the week so it has to be done on the weekend.
