So I pay charter for expanded cable and what happens last night the cable goes out on discovery and now I only have basic cable. Half the stations say "This station wil be available shortly" Wll shortly has been almost 24 hrs. lol this is stupid!

Call the cable company, in my experience the company is pretty much oblivius to all problems untill you call and then they can fix it in a few minutes

Damnit CAUGHT!

And isnt Directv dish? We dont have the best weather here in STL so whenever it rains, cloudy, windy, snowy, sunny we lost connection.

I live in Missouri too so I have the same weather. My Directv is not affected by clouds, snow, or even rain. Extemely hard rain and really severe thunderstorms might cause it to go out but you shouldn't be watching tv during a storm anyways. I've had a couple of fried tv's before. Not fun. When it does go out it's usually only for a few seconds or a minute at best.
