I got a new VX8300 friday to replace my VX4500. It ended up being a free upgrade with new every 2. So far I like it. Basically the same as my old phone, which I loved, but with more features. I'm thinking about selling my old phone on ebay, is there anything special I need to do to it first?

i saw this at the mall the other day and was thinkin bout buying it too... i can upgrade now with verizon, and i almost bought the razr but decided not to. this one looks like itd be a good phone. ive got the vx6000 right now

 

I love my phone, and i'll probably hold on to it for the next 2 or more years. :shrug:

Tons of mp3's. As many movies as i want.

I like LG, but i will only own Nokia's from now on. I just love em. :love:

I looked at the 9800 and the chocolate looks cool too. But I really just use it as a phone. I upgraded for free so I was like why not? I can also imagine the chocolate costing a little more. If I was more into having it as an mp3 player then I'd probably wait to check it out. I did find that bitpim does support the 8300

50$ with 50$ rebate. so basically I let them hold my 50$ for a few weeks and I get a phone out of it.

I ordered a data cable yesterday. The 8300 cables are still hard to find out side of verizon. So I ordered a 6100 cable and I read you can file the notches off the cables connector to make it fit. If that don't work I'll just get a usb bluetooth adapter and be done with it.

 

did you try ebay i got one plus some ear phones for 22.00 plus 5.00 shipping

 

I need a bluetooth so I can have the wireless headset, this phone is a match.. So far it's the one I'll get

 

I found only one listing on ebay that is a true vx8300 cable. It was 20. I got the vx6100 cable from www.cellphoneshop.net for 11. People seem to be using those with out much trouble. Just need to file off some nubs.
