Default Stupid headlight...

i keep burning them out very quickly i am tlaking maybe every 5 month. i dont touch them when chaging them. There is some droplets(actually lot of it) of water in the headlights you think that could be it?

I searched and someone said to drill a hole, is that really a quck and safe fix for the problem?

Silverstars SUCK I had them in for a month and they both went out. And I know a couple other people who had them and they went out quickly.

I wouldn't drill a hole. I'd try resealing the headlight housing. Wait for it to dry out first of course.

I was going to say the same thing. Throw the headlight in the oven cook at about 250 degrees for about 3 minutes take out, take apart, and reseal, repeat.

first thing's first. check if the housing is actually leaking. if not, check the condition of the seals. perhaps water is just getting in via a worn or loose seal. you'll have to pull off your bumper and headlight for this, of course.

sooooo, what type of headlight are you using?

piaas last forever. i've heard a lot of good things about them, plus my brother used a set of piaa 9006 bulbs for over five years before one of them went out. if you burn one of those out, then there's definately something wrong.
