do you assume the best or the worst? I mean do you assume he is a good person or that you should be wary of him/her?

 

depends on the person, of course

 

Most of the time when i meet someone i have already been "told" about the person. I create something in my mind to go along with what i think the person will be like, even though i shouldn't, but no matter what i hear i am always a little wary of a person when i first meet them. Its just the way i am i guess....

 

ok so what do you use to judge him? it's the first time you meet him...

Say he wasn't introduced by a friend, or someone you know. say he's just a new guy at work...Would you go up to him and be all firendly and nice to him or would you keep your distances until you get to know him a bit better?

 

I like meeting new people so I always like to expect the best. Most of the time the people are real cool.

 

see that's an other thing i wonder... is it me or does it seem that girl usually assume the best while guy usually are wary about new people.

I like to think everyone is a good person, but i find out i am wrong alot of the time about my judgement. I try not to judge people before i really know them now. I might SLIGHLY judge someone by their appearance, but i dont like doing that either because people do it to me and think i'm a mean, satanic person because of my piercings....

 

Guys are probably more wary then girls are, i dont really know how to explain WHY but i think they are, most anyways. I've just been screwed over alot, and i'm careful about people i associate myself with......

 

i think the best. since my work in an icu i meet alot of people and their families.

 

You probably see the best of most people. Because if they come up there to check on someone, most of the time i would think they would not be in a pissy mood and asses about things. Although i know there are exceptions to things like that, i'm sure you could tell us some stories......
