Did anyone go to this at summit point race way? it was so badass, there was racing, drifting, and a rollover contest, cant wait till next year. the integra type r's were dominating everyone on the track just killing the porshes and vettes like nothing.

 

wasn't there ... but i did have a hypercolor tee back in 89.

 

vettes are faster at summit than ITRs...now if you are implying that a H1 ITR from the Honda Challenge with a stock corvette then that's plausible...but not stock (and of course you may have been watching HPDE 1 with inexperienced drivers in a vette pussyfooting it through the carousel (i've been behind an rx-8 that wiped in front of me in turn 7 and almost hit me as he came back across after turn 8)

944 cup races there (series i used to race in) and the H1/H2 Hondas in the Challenge are much faster than the 944...but again like the vette a 911 is much faster than a stock ITR at summit

and this is the first year in the last 4 that i have not attended HyperRicerRedneckFest...as it attracks ricers and west virginian rednecks...quite a broad spectrum
