while at work today the blue angels were zipping around and what not. This is my first time ever taking pictures of something moving. The pics to me came out a little dark. I was using Tv mode (1/1000 sec shutter). They are going to be out again tomorrow and i want to try to improve. it was a pretty clear day and will be tomorrow also. iso 100.

They're underexposed because the camera's light meter is reading the sky and the planes are darker than the sky.

You can either set your exposure compensation to like +1 stops or something, or set your metering mode to spot (which the XT don't have) or partial (which is basically like a bigger spot.

 

I can't wait til I get an SLR...someday. :sad:
