i dont particularly care for cucumber in my california and similar variants
would it be bad for to ask them to hold the cucumber when i order one?

it was my coworkers bday today, and some genius pastry chef thought a cucumber cake would taste good......and then another genius coworker thought itd be a great idea to buy it! ugh. that shit was nasty.

im sure they've dealt with picky power freaks before and will not flip out and make your extremities the lunch special if you ask..

If you're ordering California Rolls at the Sushi Bar, more than likely, the Sushi Chef isn't taking you for a Sushi connoisseur, and WILL NOT care.

You can always substitute ingredients in your rolls. It's ok.
