When you were younger....
What did you want to grow up to be....Is it what you're doing now...if not...what are you doing now and what brought about the change
For me...I always wanted to be like my brother when i was growing up. He was a Electronic Engineer and i use to think that was so cool. Getting to solder and put stuff together, rip components apart and so forth. Unfortunately i absolutely SUCK at math. After a while I took up my other love of computers. I never realized how much i loved them. I use to always tinker with my dad Packard Bell. I use to play flight simulator and buzz aldrins race into space where you could only get it to launch through DOS. Now i'm working on a Help Desk doing phone and deskside support. I want to get into the networking side since there's alot more money to be made there as well....
And.....GO!!
Cliffs...
1)What did you want to grow up to be?
2)Is it what you're doing now?
3)If not, what are you doing now?
4)What brought about the change of attitude?
O and please...let's keep them humanly...not flying...not being able to see through walls and shit.

1. fighter pilot / rock star
2. no
3. 3rd year bachelor of mech. engineering student
4. step 1 didn't work out so well and i love what engineers do.
ILuvJae, what does grammar have to do with engineering? I can't write for crap...
The whole "being good at math" thing is 75% false. Most people who "aren't good at math" are actually just as smart as engineers, they just aren't willing to do what it takes.

I never wanted to grow up. :dunno:
I was quite happy to be making roads in the sand/dirt with my hotwheels... contemplating things that 5 year olds shouldn't be, like electrical relays, gated hoses for pumping water, diodes, worm drive gears... I guess maybe I wanted to be an inventer, or a problem solver of some sort.
But playing with hotwheels and crushing bugs was a lot more fun.
