There was an addon for Quake that was just an open ended syringe. You shoot someone with it and then for the next 2 - 3 mins they run around spurting blood all over, slowing draining their health the whole time.
That was a fun weapon.
Postal 2 has scissors you could throw at people, they were scared of them and would run, slowly killing them. An infected rotting cow head that would make people sick if they got near it, slowly killing them. Molitof cocktails that would set people on fire, slowly killing them. You could even whip it out and piss on people, if you get them in the face they will usually throw up. Didn't do any damage to them, but they just stood there puking for a moment, leaving you free to kill them slowly.
Postal 2 was such a fast paced game.
