...do you think the shooting ranges (such as American Shooting Center in SD) are open on the 4th? I wanna go shoot helpless paper targets.

You should call. And even if they are open , like what derek said, they might have shortened hours. Plus, I'm sure you're not the only one thinking about shooting on july 4th. There might be too many people. :happysad:
