All day I'm on 2 Macs and 3 PC's. I'm glad I know PC's now. Been working on them for like 3 years. Yeah, I'm bias, but when the network goes down, the Macs can see the PC's, but the PC's can't find one another. It's like watching siamese triplets look for one another :chuckles:

Ok.. I'm done with the PC bashing.

Feels kinda good, though

doood remembers me! :hugglez:

They are ad's sure, of course they are going to put a positive spin on their own stuff.

My aunt has a mac book something, and it doesn't "just work". We have to spend a half hour every time it boots up getting it back on the network, my windows and linux pc's... just work. :dunno:

Maybe there really is something wrong with it, maybe it's not just poorly designed and implemented. I really don't know and I don't care. All I know about it is that if she tries to do anything more than email and look at pictures, it doesn't work too well.

I've had a Mac for quite some time. When I have to use my dad's PC, it isn't as bad as they say but far from what I'm used to. I think A LOT of it is personal preference. A Mac guy isn't going to like adjusting to a PC, and vice-versa. I equate it to adjusting to a different car that your not used to driving, weather it's smaller or larger than what your used to driving everyday. Do things "just work"? Not allways. But sometimes. My digital camera, I never installed the drivers. I just plug it in, it mounts a disk image, I can then download the pictures directly out of the camera on to the desktop. iPhoto ftl!! All in all, its personal preference. I like Mac's, some people don't.

I havn't owned a Mac, but i can tell you. Troubleshooting a PC is easier then troubleshooting a Mac. Especially if your doing it over the phone with someone who dont know anything about a computer........
