Well that's because you're in the Western part of NC...in the Mountains. People that was are a little more redneck-ish. I'm in the Piedmont, right in the middle...so we have a wide variety between Stuck-up Snobs & rednecks. I'm neither, I'm just an average guy

hey what about colles there? i wanna be mechanical engineer... nc state at raleigh??? how are the nc schools, and how is the surrounding areas.. like raleigh?

yeah, for an electrical engineer or anything of that sort...you'll want to go to NC State. Kind of expensive, but a great school...I have a friend or two that goes/went there. We have like 4 great Universities around, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, Duke & Wake Forest.
