6000Ks IMO are the best combo.

Bi Xenon refers to both high and low beam HIDs.

I'd like to do a retrofit...then instead of just saying "retrofit" how about you give me an idea on what OEM HID assembly I could retrofit into a sealed-lamp basket that also flips up and down.

hid planet has an awesome forum and writeups. i bet you could find someone who has done it before.

Pick up a set of used E46 BMW projectors, should run you $125 or so. Then pick up a set of OEM Xenon's (ballasts & bulbs) Those go for under $250 or so now. Then after that, you have to figure out how to hack up your stock headlights. The easiest way is to pick up aftermarket projector headlights if they make them.

Honda HIDs > *

I'm running Euro Ellipsoids w/ Prolumens 5000K HID kit. The cutoff is E-Code regulations and it's sharp/OEM looking.
