Amp for Rockford Punch 1 Sub
I need an amp that would be the best match for my Rockford Punch 1 sub (150RMS, 300Max). I need an amp that will make this thing thump hard in my car, also it is in a ported box. I know that matching RMS to RMS is the best, but most amps are over rated and the RMS and Max are not the real RMS and Max because they were tested on a 14.4V system.
Thanks in advance

I think I might get another sub, sell my old box, sub and amp. and get a new amp. I bought the sub at Radio Shack and paid $10 less than Crutchfield. And pair the subs up with a Kenwood KAC-7202

You should decide what you are going to do before you buy. Buying another sub will throw off the final impedance.
If you get another 4 OHM SVC sub...its not going to work well the with KAC-7202.
KAC-7202:
» 150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (230 watts x 2 at 2 ohms)
» 460 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms (4 ohm stable in bridged mode)
With those subs, you will only be giving them 150 watts, rather than bridging and giving each 230 watts.
