i didnt watch the trailer but the spiderman in the black suit sounds just like that, spiderman in his black suit.
if you guys recall eddie brock fuses with the black spiderman suit to create venom, the suit change was first institued in the 90s i believe due to decreasing comic book sales (who can remember comics such as the superman overhaul and doomsday where superman dies, or infact the entire venom series)
the problem now is in the movie they can't introduce venom without first introducing the suit.
if you guys recall eddie brock fuses with the black spiderman suit to create venom, the suit change was first institued in the 90s i believe due to decreasing comic book sales (who can remember comics such as the superman overhaul and doomsday where superman dies, or infact the entire venom series)
the problem now is in the movie they can't introduce venom without first introducing the suit.
