Default Honda iPod Music Link

Has anybody tried this yet? I'm debating about getting one, but I'm unsure of it. I would like something with the text to actually show up on my head unit. I heard this one actually has voice and says the titles. Anybody have any other options for linking an ipod to a headunit. I have a factory stereo. I would also like to control it from the actual stereo.

nevermind then

theres an interface cable that connects to the factory head units and allows you to control your ipod through it. according to the site it says 2003 and up honda's use different software for their stereos so it doesnt work.

looks like you have to go through honda for now. :ugh:

reviews say it sucks. you can't even see what song is playing on the head unit.

its ok for what it does, gives you access to your ipod through your stock deck. it doesnt display anything, all commands are done through your deck controls and there is an audio feedback to let you know what you're doing. it'll READ your playlists to you and you select which one you want. i have one. if i knew all this when i bought it i wouldnt have bought it and just upgraded the deck instead.

It's a pile of shit. My sister has it on her '05 RL and you can't see any menu and it's more of a hassle than good. It wouldn't be so bad if you could select the songs directly from the iPod. I think Honda halfassed this device since all the other car manufacturers are on the iPod bandwagon.
