Default ATTN: beginning DJs...

So my friend and I were discussing tonight about possibly starting a DJ gig. We both like the same shit: house, trance, etc. and for a long time I've always wanted to try and see what I could produce in terms of a track or tracks.

Most new "techno" has vocals now, and I have a chick friend with an amazing voice so I'd like to try and create a track with her and my friend would "verse" me as a battle.

How did you guys start?

I would have never thought that you would be on the house trance, tip. I love house, and am still on that tip. ESPECIALLY at work. House is like a blanket that lets the day flow.

House is sometimes best when there ARE no vocals, because you get put you own lyrics to the music. As long as the girls don't try to use "vocal gymnastics", let them flow, and see what happens.
